Kickin’ it old school
If anyone has noticed, the banner I created for World of Warcast is a 45 RPM record. It’s a personal decision I made because my roots are in old school vinyl, reel-to-reel, and cassette. Everyone would expect pictures of orcs or night elves, but since my roots in recording go back to the late 60′s (when I was 2), I wanted to reflect that.
This morning, while I was eating breakfast at my desk at work, I decided to poke around Andy Stanberry’s page negativemargins.com. Near the bottom I found a pic of an old school cassette which you can customize at says-it. It was so funny that I had to make my own.

You can select different kinds of cassettes, but I chose the clear one because when I was doing audio back then, these were my favorite. If I’m brave enough, I’ll post pics of the cassettes I still own.
