Burning Crusade!
Last night I ran over to Gamestop around 10:20 to see if anyone was in line. Nobody. I decided that I’d go to Barnes and Noble and see if there was anything good (EDGE magazing, “The Girls of Gaming” #4). When I went back to my car, people started gathering around so I put the magazines in the car and hung out with everyone. I started recording with the U2 and recorded everything that happened for the next 90 minutes. The problem is that there’s so much foul language that I wouldn’t even feel comfortable putting an “Explicit” tag on the feed if I were to add it to an official cast, so at this point I have no choice but to edit it down. Too many S and F-bombs, and a C-note. Not what I want kiddies to hear. This is how real gamers talk.
The best part was catching up with some of the people that used to work at Gamestop. Pretty much all of them showed up.
The Collector’s Edition is gorgeous. It comes with a hardcover book “The Art of The Burning Crusade” (I love these kinds of books), a limited edition DVD, a soundtrack, mousepad, the game on CD and DVD, 3 packs of WoW:TCG cards, and two friends IDs.
After taking just a few minutes to install it (DVD ftw), I had to run through the 2.0.3 and 2.0.5 patches AGAIN! Not a big deal, I was just getting anxious. Once I was in, I got mail with my Netherwelp pet. I think I was the first on Boulderfist to show it off

Alachia and her crew logged into Ventrilo soon after, everyone had their game in-hand. While they were installing I ran around Outlands with my main on Whisperwind, telling everyone about how much XP you get when exploring (1000 XP for exploring a part of Hellfire!), and how empty Zangarmarsh was. I’m sure she was recording the whole thing so it’ll show up on her cast soon.
It was late so I had to crash.
